SHIKOKU
/
Editorial Design

Shikoku is a print magazine celebrating traditional Japanese cuisine through refined editorial design. This project honed my layout, typography, and visual storytelling skills, blending clean aesthetics, structured paragraphs, and a warm palette for an elegant reading experience.
Concept & Inspiration
Coming from a Latin background, I’ve seen Japanese cuisine often misrepresented—especially sushi, mistaken for Westernized rolls. Shikoku was born from a desire to showcase its true essence. Inspired by its rich history and artistry, I used refined editorial design to honor its authenticity through thoughtful typography, layout, and imagery.
